Purpose: This award was created during the 2009-2011 biennium to recognize and encourage clubs to create and maintain a presence on the World Wide Web. This award is presented to clubs who have a club website and submitted a completed award submission form by January 31, 2014. The District Three Board encourages each club to have a website including information for the general public and Altrusa membership.
Summary: Four Altrusan judges, outside District Three, were selected: Silvia Silverman, International Vice President, Silver Spring, Maryland; Rhoda Struhs, Ogden, Utah; Chris Mouter, Clubs at Large Committee member, Nelson, New Zealand; Regina Lawson Kingsport, Tennessee. All entry websites were reviewed by the judges between March 1st and March 15th 2014.
Criteria: Five areas: Function/General (10 points), Club/Membership Information (55 points), District Information (6 points), International Information (6 points) and Altrusa Information (3 points) for a possible total of 80 points from each judge or 320 overall.
Seven (7) clubs submitted award applications.
